What I've Accomplished

I helped pass ethics reforms that banned lawmakers from lobbying while in office, strengthened lobbyist disclosure requirements, restricted campaign fundraising during session, and established a one-year lobbying ban after leaving office.

Future Plans

I will continue fighting to extend Illinois' revolving-door lobbying ban from one year to five years to further strengthen public trust in government.

What I've Accomplished

I introduced and supported legislation to expand property tax relief, including assessment freezes for SSI recipients, easier homestead exemption renewals for people with disabilities, and expanded exemptions for disabled veterans, police officers, and firefighters.

Future Plans

I will continue working to create a Long Time Homeowner Property Tax Exemption, expand senior property tax relief, and support legislation that lowers the property tax burden for families across the Stateline.

What I've Accomplished

I sponsored and supported legislation to improve accountability for veterans' services, reduce financial barriers for veteran-owned businesses, expand property tax relief for disabled veterans, and strengthen career opportunities for transitioning service members.

Future Plans

I will continue fighting for policies that honor our veterans by improving access to resources, expanding opportunities, and ensuring they receive the support they deserve.

What I've Accomplished

I sponsored and supported legislation to combat violent crime, strengthen law enforcement, expand mental health resources, ban ghost guns, and better protect victims of sexual assault and abuse.

Future Plans

I will continue supporting law enforcement, expanding problem-solving courts and resources for the Family Peace Center, and advancing policies that prevent crime before it starts.

What I've Accomplished

I sponsored and supported legislation to increase funding for schools, expand career and technical education (CTE) programs, and provide students with more workforce training opportunities.

Future Plans

I will continue advocating for fair teacher pay and expanded career and vocational training programs that prepare students for successful futures.
